How to Care for Your Silk

Every Silk&Sibél piece is made from 100% pure mulberry silk of 6A grade, the highest quality silk available. With the right care, your pieces will stay beautiful for many years.

Washing

• Hand wash in cool or lukewarm water (max. 30°C) with a mild, pH-neutral detergent for silk or delicates.
• Machine washing is possible on a delicate or silk programme at max. 30°C with a low spin. Always use a mesh laundry bag.
• Never use bleach or fabric softener.

Drying

• Do not wring or twist. Gently press out excess water or roll in a towel.
• Dry flat or on a padded hanger, in the shade. Never use a tumble dryer.

Ironing

• Iron on the reverse side on a low (silk) setting, or use a steamer.

Storing

• Store in a cool, dry place in a breathable cotton bag, away from sunlight.
